More than 500 people in China have come together for what is believed to be the world’s largest family reunion photo.

The Ren family were reunited at a gathering in Shishe village in the eastern province of Zhejiang.

The family roots in the village go back 851 years, but the family tree had not been updated for several generations.

More than 500 members of the Ren family, spanning seven generations, turned up for the reunion.

The scary thing is that the family has started updating the family records and managed to track down some 2,000 living descendants.
