A selected group of fans in Japan have experienced the super speed of their new trains.

One hundred passengers whizzed along a 27 mile route on an amazing new floating train.

The train works by ‘levitating’ above the train tracks using magnets – so they’re nicknamed maglev trains.

The Central Japan Railway Company is testing the trains between the cities of Uenohara and Fuefuki.

The train on this journey traveled at 500km per hour.
