A man nicknamed the ‘Monkey Man’ has broken the world record for the 100m dash on all fours.

Japan‘s Kenichi Ito hacan run the 100-yard dash in 16.87 seconds on all fours.

The new mark, set this week, shattered last year’s time of 17.47 seconds.

People call him “The Monkey Man,” for reasons that are obvious if you watched that video. But he doesn’t mind because he likes monkeys anyway.

Ito came upon this skill by walking around on all fours in Tokyo for the last eight years, mimicking the gait of the African Patas monkey.
