Saturday 13th November was celebrated as World Kindness Day.

The aim of World Kindness Day is to spread kindness with small gestures.

The main tradition of the day is to be kind and to try and encourage kindness to prevail over hatred. Whether it’s helping out someone with chores, taking the time out to ask how someone is doing, or complimenting someone, the name of the game is kindness, and we all have it in us.

The benefits of kindness

Studies have shown that being kind can significantly improve our physical and emotional wellbeing – whether we are giving or receiving it.
