Get ready for Pi Day!

World Pi Day is celebrated every 14th March and it is your chance to pay tribute to the most famous constant in math and physics: Pi.

Pi is the Circumference divided by the Diameter of a Circle.

It’s represented by the Greek letter “π” — in English, “pi.”

Its value is often recorded as 3.14 — hence the celebration on the 14th day of the third month of the year — but that’s an approximation.

The real value of pi is 3.1415926535… with the three dots signifying that the string of digits goes on forever.
