Williamson guides Black Caps to victory

Kane Williamson has guided the Black Caps to victory by 4 wickets over South Africa.

It was New Zealand’s 5th game of the World Cup.

South Africa batted first making 241 for 6 of 49 overs. Hashim Amla made 55 and Rassie van der Dussen making 67 not out. The pick of the bowlers was Lokie Ferguson getting 3 wickets. Boult, De Grandhomme and Santner all getting 1 wicket each.

In reply, New Zealand was guided home by captain Kane Williamson. He scored 106 not out. Sealing the game with a huge six and four off the final over.
Colin de Grandhomme also batted well for New Zealand, scoring 60 off 47 balls.

New Zealand’s next match is against the west Indies
