The Wiggles have released a new song to help kids understand ‘social distancing’.

The children entertainers have tackled the term in their latest song, which includes an arms-out dance move that demonstrates the 2m rule.

The song was written to explain to kids why they can’t go and see their nana or invite a friend over during the coronavirus pandemic.

In the music video, Yellow Wiggle Emma Watkins plays the role of a grandmother who is sad she’s stuck at home alone.

The song also covers the importance of handwashing. It tells children to get rid of germs by washing their hands “many times a day” to “become a handwashing hero”.
