Support Kiwi kids with cancer this Wig Wednesday!
Every week in Aotearoa, three kids are diagnosed with cancer. The treatment these children undergo often means they need to brave the world with no hair.
Your school can show your support for these children and their whānau by joining us for Wig Wednesday this September!
Getting involved is fun and easy. Students and teachers can simply wear their favourite wig, style a funky hairdo or even shave their head, all while raising money for Child Cancer Foundation. It works perfectly when combined with a mufti day, where everyone brings a gold coin donation!
The national event date is Wednesday 7 September 2022, but you can choose any date that works for you – let’s get wiggy!
Talk to your teacher and get your school signed up today at wigwednesday.org.nz
