This year the focus for the 2014 40 Hour Famine is Bangladesh.

The rate of malnutrition in Bangladesh is nearly the highest in the world.  Injustice is rife leaving children vulnerable to malnutrition and food insecurity

Nearly 8 million children in Bangladesh are malnourished

The funds raised through this year’s Famine will go towards establishing emergency feeding programmes, teaching families how to grow veggies and improving access to health and nutrition services.
