White house gets Christmas Tree

Christmas has come to the White House is spectacular fashion with a massive 5.6m Douglas fir now the official white House Christmas Tree.

The tree was bought in especially from Crystal Spring Tree Farm in Pennsylvania.

An army of volunteer decorators and White House staffers took all weekend to trim the tree and hang decorations to make the new tree look perfect.

As in past years, many of the decorations will honor military families, who are getting a first look at the decorations on Monday.
