The White Ferns have been crushed by 232 runs in the third and final Rose Bowl one-day international in Brisbane.

Chasing Australia’s huge score of 325/5, NZ were bowled out for just 93 in 27 overs.

The victory means that Australia hold onto the Rose Bowl trophy after winning the series 3-0. This goes with their 2-1 win in the Twenty20 internationals.

Aussie Captain Rachael Haynes led the way with 96 runs, combining with Alyssa Healy (87) for a 144-run first-wicket partnership.

Spinner Amelia Kerr was the bright spot with the ball, finishing with figures of 3-50.

In response, five quick White Ferns wickets in the first 15 overs essentially ended the match.

New Zealand has not won the Rose bowl trophy since 1999.
