A new type of coco pop is hitting the shelves.

The new white coco pops will be a first for New Zealand.

The flavour was a massive success in the UK after its recent launch, but so far Kiwis have only been able to experience the standard milk chocolate version of the popular cereal.

Coco Pops are put out by Kellogg New Zealand.

Their development team has worked incredibly hard to create the flavour which has a unique taste inspired by the delicious crème brulee and pana cotta desserts.

The Coco Pops White Choc flavour will be available at New World and Pak’n Save from June, before it also hits shelves in Countdown from September.

However, it does have a two-star health rating and is 37 percent sugar.
