Three people are being hailed as heroes after rescuing and resuscitating a man who was facing immense difficulty in Wellingtons harbour yesterday. The two men aged 25 and 19, and 15-year-old teenage girl dived into the water are hearing yells for help. The trio reached the man who was face-down and unconscious in the water and brought him back to shore.
They then began CPR on the man until police and the fire service arrived. The man was then taken to hospital in a serious condition. While the condition of the man is still unknown, he would most definitely have drowned if it wasn’t for the lifesaving actions of the trio. The three young individuals could be in line for a bravery award, following their actions, Newstalk ZB reported.
