The water in the Olympic diving pool has turned a bright green and nobody knows why.

The strange colour of the water started last night during the women’s 10-metre final and progressively got worse.

Experts have said the water is clean and perfectly healthy, but some divers have expressed concerns over water quality.

The strange shade of the Rio pool generated jokes about algae and dye on social media and overshadowed the women’s 10-metre final.

The problem may come from a faulty filter or problematic water quality.

That is just sad. I feel sorry for the people that have booked to see the diving because you cannot see the divers apparently. I also feel sorry for the divers and the swimmers because the wouldn’t be able to see either. Sorry if you have seen or are in the Olympics. 🙁 Especially the diving 🙁
