A man in Vienna has been fined after doing a huge fart in public.
This week Austrian police announced they have fined a man $500 euros for loudly breaking wind.
This came after officers stopped him earlier this month to check his identity.
The police defended the large fine saying he had deliberately emitted “massive flatulence” in their direction. He lifted his backside from the bench where he was sitting.
The police said the man can challenge the fine in the legal system.
