An American toddler, Luca Yupanqui, is about to release her debut album from the womb.

Luca’s parents are Elizabeth Hart and Iván Diaz Mathé. While Luca was in his mother’s womb they recorded sounds using “biosonic MIDI technology”.

The recording took 5 hours to take and then was then edited down to the final product.

Hart and Diaz Mathé looked to intervene as little as possible, allowing Luca’s sounds to exist in its ‘raw form”.

The album is called the Sounds of the Unborn, will be released on 2 April.
