American President Barack Obama has ordered air attacks against a radical group in Northern Iraq.

The group is known as IS and they are  trying to take over parts of of Iraq.

Obama said the strikes were needed because many people are in danger. Despite the latest announcement he said he would not send American troops back into Iraq.

IS has links to terrorist group Al-Qaeda and has been threatened to harm any non-muslim people unless they convert to Islam.

They want to make a new country called the Islamic State which would join parts of Iraq and Syria together.

Hundreds of thousands of people have left the area to avoid the fighting.

  1. that is a bad thing to do then their might be people still there and if you kill them you are killers too so what If a family is being held hostage and they are not telling you about it so I think they should have a meeting with the people, I don’t say that it is+ a bad thing to kill the IS because they are doing bad things to people they don’t like

  2. I think that people should be able to be apart of any religion they want, and I also think that what the IS are doing is wrong, but even though they are doing something wrong doesn’t mean its okay for America to do something wrong, also hopefully they will be able to resolve this peacefully.

  3. thats not right that should be ilegall they might just start another war over there
