The United Kingdom has celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee in style.

During the four-day celebrations, the focus was on Queen Elizabeth’s 70 years on the throne.

The Platinum Jubilee, which is an anniversary event, saw many parties and events take place over a special four-day Bank Holiday from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June 2022.

Her Majesty is the nation’s longest-reigning monarch. She has reigned longer than any of her predecessors, becoming Queen in 1952, aged just 25.

Queen Elizabeth said that the support humbled her she has received after crowds of royal fans cheered her appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, flanked by her heir Prince Charles and two other future kings

The Queen was forced to miss some of the events because of discomfort while travelling and activity they required, the palace has said.
