Ukraine forces leave Crimea

Ukraine has ordered its armed forces to leave Crimea due to fears for thie safety.

The announcement was made by the stand in president,  Olexander Turchynov, and comes after Russian troops took control of a number of  Ukraine’s military bases.

Earlier this month, Russia organised a vote where the people of Crimea voted to leave Ukraine and become part of Russia.

However, countries like America, Britain and New Zealand considered that be illegal.
New Zealand has put a travel ban on some people from Russia and Crimea to show its diaproval.

  1. I think it is incredibly sad what is going on in Crimea and am glad New Zealand is not supporting this illegal act.
