The second gameweek of this season’s Champions League started on Wednesday, and the top sides around Europe were competing. The first match was Ukrainian side Shakhtar Donetsk beating Serie A team Atalanta 2-1, with a 95th minute goal to earn 3 points.

Next was Real Madrid sharing the points against Club Brugge in a 2-2 draw, and Manchester City easing past Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb with a 2-0 win. There were a lot of other matches, but out of them all my two favourites were Bayern Munich’s 7-2 thrashing of Tottenham with Serge Gnabry scoring 4 times, and Liverpool edging Red Bull 4-3 at home.

Barcelona came away with a win, beating Inter Milan 2-1 after a late goal by Luis Suarez got them all three points. This season looks to be very interesting, as many big teams are struggling in their respective leagues, but who will win the biggest league of them all?
