Two american twins have the amazing fact of both being older than each other.

The strange birthdays occur because the twins were born during daylight savings time.

Emily Peterson gave birth to twins in Boston’s Cape Cod Hospital on November 6.

The first baby, Samuel, was born at 1.39am local time, UPI reports. His brother, Ronan, was born 31 minutes later, when daylight saving time had ended, making him 29 minutes older.

A maternity nurse at the hospital, Deb Totten, said it was the first time she had witnessed such an event in more than 40 years of nursing.
