Three wins from three for the Black Caps

New Zealand has won their third match of the 2019 Cricket World Cup. The win means they have won their first three games.

They beat Afghanistan by 7 wickets, with the two key performers with the ball being Jimmy Neesham and Lockie Ferguson. Jimmy Neesham got five wickets and Lockie Ferguson took four.

These two ensured that Afghanistan runs were kept restricted and they were bowled out for 172.

In reply, New Zealand chased it down with ease. The top scorer was Kane Williamson with an unbeaten score of 79.

New Zealand’s next game will be against India on Thursday night.
