A fourteen year old boy, Lucas Etter, has broken the world record time for solving a Rubik’s Cube!

Lucas solved the 3×3 Rubik’s Cube in 4.904 seconds and was officially awarded the record by the World Cube Association.

Lego-built robot ‘Cubestormer 3’ holds the overall record with a time of 3.253 seconds but Lucas definitely holds the human record!

With only a second and a half difference between robot and human records, Lucas is certainly a Rubik’s whiz!
