In the second week of the new Super Rugby Pacific competition the Crusaders and Hurricanes both had close victories.
The second round started off with the Crusaders beating the Highlanders 34-19 in Dunedin.
Early on the Highlanders raced 13-0 lead before the Crusaders hit back through two tries for All Blacks winger Sevu Reece to take a 17-16 lead into halftime.
With 10 minutes to go in the game, the score was 20-19 but then the Crusaders scored 2 quick tries to secure the win.
In the second game of the round, the Hurricanes claimed a 33-32 win against the Blues in Super Rugby Pacific.
A late try from the Hurricanes captain Ardie Savea completed the amazing come from behind win.
The Blues had an 18-point lead with nine minutes on the clock but two late tries from the Hurricanes stole the victory from their grasp.
Meanwhile, the Brumbies were too strong for Fijian Drua in Canberra, with a 42-3 win.
