Storm Stella hits America

A huge snow storm called Storm Stella has hit the East coast of America.

The weather has been so bad a state of emergency has been called in several states. New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania declare states of emergency. Winter storm Stella shut down schools, government offices and public transportation systems and cancelled thousands of flights across the country.

People have been asked to stay in their homes.

United States Emergency services and snow ploughs have been working around the clock to clear snow from the streets.

  1. I hope people don’t run out of food and that electricity is fine so that they can keep warm. I thought that this news was both sad and can’t be true because my name is Stella!
