New Zealand Rugby Chief Executive Steve Tew has announced his resignation after 12 years in the role.

The Chief Executive is the person that has overall responsibility for the game of rugby in New Zealand.

Tew has worked at New Zealand Rugby since 2001 and will leave in after the World Cup.

Under Tew’s stewardship, New Zealand Rugby has had one of its best periods. Currently, New Zealand Rugby holds all four Rugby World Cups for both men’s and women’s Fifteens and Sevens teams.

This is a remarkable achievement.

  1. This is the best news website I have ever explored! You are better than Newshub. All the kids in my reading group love Kiwikidsnews. You people show all the news at school than at home. My whole family loves it and you guys are so lucky to have your own family website. I would really love the National Politics section to have more NEW stories. I have 1 question. Where do you get all that infomation from?
Thank for providing this websites for kids to experience news at school rather than at home.
