Star Wars legend Mark Hamill has finally been honoured with a Hollywood star.
The actor known to most fans as Luke Skywalker has unveiled his name on the famed Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was joined by Star Wars alumni Harrison Ford, Billie Lourd, Kelly Marie Tran, R2-D2 and George Lucas.
Ford, the actor who portrays Han Solo, took the opportunity to remember a missing member of the gang.
“When thinking about today, I was really sorry that we don’t have the other member of our trio here to celebrate with us,” he said, referring to Carrie Fisher, who died unexpectedly last year.
Hamill kept his own speech short, joking about his small role in Episode VII of the mega-franchise.
Hamill’s star is number 2,360 star on the famed strip.
