A massive snowstorm has wreaked havoc in the United States leaving seven people dead in New York.
The storm dumped 1.5m of snow in the Buffalo area, with more snow fall forecasted.
As a result of the storm, one person died in a car crash, one trapped in a car and five from heart attacks.
Some residents have been unable to leave their houses as the snow has removed any chance of them even being able to open their front doors.
Strong winds and icy roads caused motorway accidents and forced schools to close. Train services were suspended and over 100 vehicles were trapped on a road in New York.
One woman had to give birth in a fire station as the snow made it impossible for her to travel to a hospital.
People have been offered free tickets to this weekends football game if they are willing to help shovel snow out of the stands of the football arena.
This storm is dangerous and will go down in history as one of the biggest snow storms to hit New York.
