Simone Biles has used lockdown to perfect a new gymnastic move.

The five-time World champion re-started training just four weeks ago, and quickly posted – a triple-twisting, double back off the balance beam.

Biles performed a similar trick at last October’s World Artistic Gymnastics Champions in Germany.

However, the sport’s international governing body declared the element too dangerous and gave it a lower than expected difficulty rating. This means she is unlikely to use the move in competition.

Earlier this year there was speculation that Biles was going to retire from her sport. But this latest news may prove that she will be at the next Olympic Games.
