If you’re a fan of basketball sneakers and sushi, you’ll be happy to know there’s a chef in Italy who has combined his two loves by making sushi in the form of the world’s most popular shoes.

Yujia Hu, a Chinese artist working in a Japanese restaurant in Milan, began his practice of shaping a mixture of rice and vinegar into shoes, before detailing them with sashimi and seaweed.

His ‘shoe-shi’ range includes classics from Nike, Adidas and Supreme.

It brings a whole new meaning to ‘playing with your food’

  2. It’s kinda gross that he puts it into an actual shoe to shape it ??????

  3. This is cool!!! One of my favourite foods and some of the awesome-st shoes, I would buy this anytime!
