Kiwi snowboarder Zoi Sadowski-Synnott, has won another title at the X Games in Aspen, Colorado.

After winning the Slopestyle yesterday, Sadowski-Synnott’s this morning added the Big Air title, to ensure she could not be in better form ahead of the Winter Olympics.

In her winning run she landed a backside twelve-sixty trick for the first time in the competition.

The run pushed her to the top of the standings, and in doing so, she beat 18-time X-Games gold medallist and double Olympic champion Jamie Anderson into second place.

Sadowski-Synnott’s success could not be better timed, with the Winter Olympics just around the corner.

New Zealand’s never won a gold medal at a Winter Games.
