Royal tour hits Christchurch

The royal New Zealand tour has spent time in Christchurch as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge spent time in the garden city.
The couple visited Christchurch’s Botanical Gardens, played a game of cricket with young enthusiasts on their final offical day of the tour.
While at the gardens the couple opened a new $16.4 million visitor center.
More than 100 relatives of quake victims also met the royal pair on the site of the former CTV building.The Duke and Duchess spoke at length to the victims families.
During the day Kate was inundated with gifts for baby George, including toys and a sheep pillow.
Yesterday the couple had been in Otago where among other things they rode the Shotover Jet.
