The Queen Turns 90

The Queen celebrated her 90th birthday on April 21.

Her Majesty is marking her actual birthday with three days of low key events in Windsor, ahead of a more elaborate festivities in London in May and on her official birthday in June.

The Queen and her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, went on a walkabout to greet members of the public.

A 41 gun salute took place in Hyde Park and a 62 gun salute at the Tower of London.

The Queen lit the first in a chain of 1,000 beacons across the country and worldwide that will celebrate her birthday.

President of USA, Barak Obama, traveled to Windsor Castle to dine with the Queen on her birthday.
