Prince William and Harry unveil Diana statue

Prince William and Harry have unveiled a new statue of their late mother, Diana.

The statue is located in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace in London. It was unveiled on the 1st July to mark what would have been her 60th birthday.

Princess Diana was married to Prince Charles, and was Prince William and Harry’s mum. She died in 1997.

It statue was commissioned by William and Harry in 2017, and has been made by artist Ian Rank-Broadley.

Harry and William said: “Our mother touched so many lives. We hope the statue will help all those who visit Kensington Palace to reflect on her life and her legacy.”
