Pluto’s Ice Volcanoes?

Two mountains that are several km high and tens of km across have been discovered on Pluto. They have what looks like dips in the tops, and scientist say they may be possible ice volcanoes.

Earth’s volcanoes spew out molten rock. However, Pluto’s volcanoes would most likely erupt an icy slush, possibly made up of water, nitrogen, ammonia or methane.

Scientists still need to do further work to confirm their volcano idea.
