A Malaysian airlines plane has reportedly been shot down while flying over the Ukraine.

Flight MH17 was flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur  when it disappeared from radar  just as it flew over the Ukraine.

The plane was carrying 280 passengers and 15 crew members.

At this stage both the Ukrainian government and pro-Russian rebels who have been fighting in the region have denied shooting it down.

At least one New Zealand passport-holder may have been on board with most of the passengers coming from the Netherlands.

  1. the pilot lost control lehi, he/she couldn’t do much about it as it was shot.
this is really sad, this isn’t the 1st time Malaysian airlines have crashed, to be honest I think they should go out of business. I was in Bali a few days ago and we met my Aunt and uncle there, they were traveling back on Malaysian airlines but neither them or my family wanted them to travel back on the airline.

  2. why did the pilot choose to go the direction when he was suposed to go the other direction?
