You may have heard in earlier news that Oscar Pistorius was found guilty of killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp.
Today the judge sentenced the South African athlete to five years in prison.
However his lawyers expect to see him serve 10 months in prison and the rest of the five years under house arrest, meaning he cannot leave his house for over four years.
He was convicted of culpable homicide in September, meaning he killed Steenkamp by accident while acting carelessly.
The judge also gave Pistorius a three year suspended sentence on another charge of firing a gun in public.
A suspended sentence means the charge will be dropped after three years if Pistorius does not break law within that period of time.
Do you think this is a fair sentencing?
