Peters wins second medal at Beijing Paralympics

Corey Peters has won his second medal of the Beijing Paralympics.

This time he won a silver medal inthe Super-G event.

Super-G is Peters’ favoured event were his precision skiing worked in his favour on the challenging course.

The 38-year-old was rapid throughout the middle of the course, picking up speed with some tight turns and was just milliseconds away from crossing the line in the gold medal position.

Peters said he was “ecstatic” with his showing so far. He still has one more event in which to claim his third medal of the games.
