New Zealand swimmer Sophie Pascoe has won four gold medals at the World Para Swimming Championships in London.

Her final medal was in the women’s 50 metre freestyle S9 where she set a news championship record of 27.77 seconds.

Pascoe waved four fingers in the air in celebration. It’s her 12th World Title.

Last week, the nine-time Paralympic gold medallist comfortably won the final of the women’s 100 metre butterfly S9, the S9 100 metre backstroke and S9 100 metre freestyle.

Pascoe said she was happy with her swims but said there were definitely areas she wanted to work on.

The New Zealand team finished with a total of six golds and one silver at the championships.
