Paris to ban cars

The French capital city of Paris has taken the radical step of banning cars in a bid to reduce air pollution.

Today only cars with an odd-numbered registration plate will be allowed on the roads in Paris.

Tomorrow only cars with an even-numbered registration plate will be allowed.

The government in France is trying to reduce the pollution levels in the city which have become increasingly high.

Car drivers will be fined if they fail to comply with the new rules.

  1. Stop using cars? We could simply use powered cars… Oil will run out at one point. Sad fire, think before posting.
