The Otago Nuggets have won the National Basketball League for 2022 after beating Auckland Tuatara 81-73 in the grand final.
This is the Otago Nuggets’ first-ever NBL title. This makes a great comeback, as only eight years ago they were struggling with financial issues.
Guard Keith Williams had a MVP performance scoring a game-high 34 points, to go with eight rebounds, and a steal.
