Liam is a Year 4 student at Russell St School in Palmerston North.

He has a made a youtube video to publicise Orangutan Awareness Week which runs from the 9 – 16th of November.

His video took more than 30 hours to make and he has taken over 400 photos to make this animation.  He was able to show world-renowned primatologist Craig Stanford his animation when he visited Palmerston North, he gave him an A+ for it.  The animation has been sent over to Australia for a film festival.

He is raising money for Auckland Zoos Conservation fund by having a dress up in the colour orange or as your favourite animal for a gold coin donation this Thursday.

They also closed of the schools play ground during lunch time today to make the students think about what it is like to lose their habitat.
