Our Rowing team had a big day. It started with the quad woman. They finished 3rd in their heat. Then Emma Twigg got 1st in her heat to send her through to the semi-finals. Then we had Jordan Parry who finished 4th in his heat. To finish the rowing day we had the woman double sculls. We came 2nd.
Our Swimmer Lewis Clareburt finished 7th in the final of the 400 individual medley. He swam a 4.11.22
Eric Fairweather, New Zealand youngest team member produced a superb race in the 400m freestyle. Her swim was good enough to make it to the final with the 4th fastest time.
Our Surfer Billy Stairmand got 3rd in his heat with the shortboard. His performance was 9.97 over 2 waves. 5.00 on the first wave and 4.97 on the second. Ella Williams also had a good day and progressed through to the next round. Check her surfing below.
Our Shooter Chloe Tipple got 28th on skeet. She got 57 points overall.
Our Hockey women team beat Argentina 3-0. The goals were scored by Kelsey Smith, Hope Ralph, and Holly Pearson.
Our double tennis team had a win. We won the sets 6-3 and 7-6.
Our Male football team had a 3-2 loss. We started the game by going up with one of the goals of the tournament by Cacace. Then they scored a couple at the end of the match to beat us.
