Rowing
We had 4 crews racing today with the best race being our Women’s 8 had a great race. Check it out below.
Hockey
Our Men’s Hockey team had a loss against India. The score was 3-2. Kane Russell and Stephen Jenness scored for NZ.
Cycling
Our Cycling team had George Bennett finishing 26th. He stayed with the main group for most of the day but couldn’t keep up on the hills. They biked for over 6 hours at an average of 45 km per hour. Our other rider Patrick Bevin played a good role of the ride out for Bennett.
Football
Our Women’s football team had a loss against the USA. We started off strong but the USA scored 6 to our 1. It was a tough game against the world champions.
We will be playing Sweden next on the last pool game of the tournament.
Gymnastics
In gymnastics we had Misha Koudinov finish 52nd as an all-around gymnast.
He got 78.064 points in all his events.
