The NRL has announced it will be starting again on May 28th.

The NRL have reached an agreement with its broadcast partners.

The length of the season is still to be confirmed, with a decision expected early next week. However, it looks as it might be between 17 and 22 rounds.

However, the decision has had mixed reviews.

Free-to-air broadcaster Channel Nine labelled the NRL’s plans as too early. .

The new start date would include the New Zealand Warriors, who have been given permission to fly to Australia and base themselves over there.
