People that use buses around in Auckland, Waikato and Wellington were left stranded as bus drivers walked off the job this week.
Bus drivers in Auckland and Waikato walked off the job on Tuesday. Wellington drivers will strike on Thursday.
Drivers had had enough of the poor pay and work conditions.
Drivers currently “work 12 hours for eight hours’ pay” because of split shifts and are also expected to drive unsupervised children on school bus routes.
