There will be no Supercar Motor Racing event New Zealand in 2021.

The Auckland round, held in Pukekohe, has been cancelled for the second straight year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

This week, Supercar announced a new-look calendar for the remainder of the 2021 season, with both the Auckland and Perth events removed.

The Auckland event was due to be held at Pukekohe across November 6-7.

The new calendar includes a new date for the Bathurst 1000, which has been moved back four weeks to November 4-7.

The season will start again at Winton Motor Raceway across October 2-3. It will finish with the Gold Coast 500 on the Surfers Paradise streets over the December 3-5 weekend.
