New Zealand $5 note nominated as best

The new New Zealand $5 note has been announced as a finialist in the in the Banknote of the Year competition.
The competition is run yearly by the the International Bank Note Society.
The other nominated notes for International Bank Note of the Year include Singapore’s $50 and Tonga’s $50 Pa’anga.
The winner will be announced next month.
The 2014 winner was Trinidad & Tobago’s $50 note.
Mountaineer Sir Edmund Hillary features prominently on the note.

  4. That’s quite amazing but I really think the new $5 note looks ungly no that’s an understatement it’s absolutely hideous
