Scientists in the US have developed a sensor that helps you monitor anything that passes your lips.

Designed by engineers at Tufts University School of Engineering in Massachusetts, the sensor is designed to mount directly onto a tooth.

Vital information regarding glucose, salt and alcohol is then transmitted wirelessly to a mobile device.

There are no reports as to when the technology will be available to the public.

  1. Well that is just weird and you should know what you are eating anyway, unless there is a problem, even babies should know that it is not helpful or yet factual

  2. This tooth device thing seems very interesting to me and probably to a whole lot of others wonder when it will be out?

  3. SO YOU WANT YouR MUM AND DAD TO SEE YOU ATE CHOCOLATE CAKE At 6AM BEFORE BREKFAST?

  4. I think this just shows how much we humans have:
    1. Are unable to control what we eat
    2. How much we are self-conscious about how we look
    3. What technology we have created that impacts the environment.
