The New Zealand Police Force has brand new cars.
A total of 157 new Holden Commodores have been put into service since April 2018.
The new models have a sloping back that is halfway between a sedan and hatchback and some people are concerned about comfort and safety.
Rear seat headroom was reduced by 13mm.
Holden has held the contract to supply cars to the police since 2006.
The contract was renewed in 2015 for another five years.
